About

Welcome and thank you for visiting our website. We are Adam, Jane + Evangeline Stoller Bliwas. We currently live on Maui where we are learning and growing as individuals and as a family unit. Our dream is to create a homestead using the principles of Permaculture and Bio-dynamic agriculture. We are raising our family to live with the land, produce food for ourselves and our local community, while sharing our experiences with the global community.

Adam is a father, farmer, gardener, and all around handy-man. His passion for farming and simple living was implanted early as a child, spending several weeks a year with his grandparents in rural Appalachia. While studying at university, he began to awaken to the correlation between bodily health of the individual and its impact on humanity as a whole. Studying Tai Chi, Quigong and Yoga as well as being a long distance runner, gives him first-hand experience into the vibrational effects of a locally sourced and self-produced diet. He believes that man has an ability built within his DNA to communicate with the natural world, and can heal by tuning into what nature has to say. Adam has paved a path of agricultural education which includes work on a diverse spread of organic farms in Minnesota and a homestead in Upcountry, Maui. Along this path he has been gifted with incredible mentors and life-long friends, all of whom have taught valuable lessons by being who they are and doing what they love. A true autodidact, his studies include political science, philosophy, religion, and history.

Jane is a mother, photographer, yogi, and experimental cook (to name a few of the hats she wears). She has a deep passion for real food and is invested in challenging our current food system to promote and sustain health, as apposed to creating illness. Growing up on a horse farm in Minnesota with organic foods growing on the property and being cooked in the kitchen, instilled certain values that Jane brings to her own family. She is continually educating herself on what balanced nutrition looks and feels like and how different that is from one individual to the next. Knowing where our foods are sourced from is essential. Choosing foods that are locally and sustainably grown are best for our vibrational level, our bodies, our community, and the environment. But, the real work starts and ends with putting our own spirit and heart first. If we can heal ourselves, we can heal the world.

Roots + Wings Family Farm is a bio-dynamic adventure for the Stoller Bliwas Family. We currently have two gardens providing food for ourselves, our family as well as a produce stand at the Saturday Upcountry Farmers Market.

With Love + Gratitude,

Jane, Adam + Evangeline
